This cartoon was inspired by Steve McIntyre’s posts on the Marcottian redating of cores. How do they get away with this stuff?

I’ve said it before: we need a new Douglas Adams for climate science. Straw men can be propped up against any onslaught with the exception of uncontrollable laughter from the general public. IN other words, we need to make this entire issue a laughing stock to the typical guy/gal on the street. Unfortunately, this latest example of Josh’s superb humour exceeds the knowledge of that least-vocal but most important group of political consitutents and wlil never become the “Tippicanoe” of this modern day.
Josh, you might be the man, I think. Keep cranking them out – at some point you will hit on the one which is to the point, readily and rapidly comprehensible to the typical middle school mentality of John Q, Public, encapsulates the wholly farcial underpinnings of post-modern environmentalism and instantly reveals to all and sundry the ludicrous Chicken Little-ness of the entire clan of eco-apocalyptic poltroons who are leading us in a backward march into a new dark age.

Easter is a time for rebirth and forgiveness. Hopefully the climate frauds will start asking for forgiveness for their scientific sins and begin a new era of truthfullness.

Here’s an idea:
Image: A gently upsloping hockey stick–its shaft angles gently upward at about 15 or 20 degrees, say. Its blade, rather than turning upward, has turned flat. Maybe it has wrinkles in it and a downward drooping tip suggesting limpness. (This of course is a smoothed image of the global temperature chart from the mid-70s forward.)

That is indubitably true, and so it gives the other side no comeback. What’s “real” (most relevant) is arguable.

The sad thing is that whole limp thinking attitude is starting to get into everything, from no more “honors night ” for top students, to no more “best friend” because it might hurt someones feelings and the new curriculum for our kids it frankly scares the heck out of me , where the hell are we going to end up if it was not for sites like this!

the weather in Ireland has been so cold we got snow the last two years that lasted for 4 to 5 weeks we never get snow that lasts more than 5/6 days tops????????
