It has been a bit of a rough couple of days following the debut of WUWT-TV last week. At first, I couldn’t get any of the videos to play on other systems, and it was then I realized that the video streaming system saved the recorded segments in some sort of unique .mov format, requiring a conversion. Once I figured out I have to convert, it went smoother.
Getting this video online took about 5 hours worth of work. Now that I know the hurdles and process, perhaps I can get it done faster and I’ll try to add one video per day.
This is the Senator James Inhofe interview on WUWT-TV Nov 14th 2012 to kick off the broadcast. The interview was conducted via Skype at the Senator’s office in Washington, DC.
Well done! Keep up the good work for all our sakes!
Mr. Watts,
As always— THANK YOU !!
I look forward to viewing the presentations that I was unable to view live.
Very nice, Anthony. Your TV experience reveals itself in the ease with which you handle the interview, and you have a pleasant, well-modulated voice. Looking forward to seeing and hearing the remaining videos, and I hope to hear more about WUWT TV for years to come.
Thanks for that Anthony. I had very bad streaming problems that day but this video is top quality.
I’ll be downloading them as fast as they come.
Thank you!
Anthony: I’m sure you’re aware my presentation is already online:
As is the backup presentation, Part 2:
Unless you want them all on a single YouTube channel, feel free to link mine.
Regards
Once all the videos are up, please provide a page containing all the links. Thank you!
To build an igloo (perhaps in front of your state’s statehouse) it helps greatly to have an “Eskimold.” It’s sold at this site for $24: http://www.eskimold.com/index.html Maybe Heartland could take one along to Germany (pack stuff inside it), or have it pre-shipped to the hotel there, and build a few igloos as a PR device. As Inhofe says, it got him a lot of attention in the media.
There’s a 90-second online video of the mold being used. Here’s what the home page says:
Sen. Inhofe talks sense, should have run for President rather than Romney.
Nice. You even have that smooth TV voice. Makes one think you’ve done this before.
Goodness Gracious. I’m on the edge of my chair in the middle of Kurdistan, with no bandwidth to allow me to watch this. I have to wait three weeks before becoming Mr. Canucklehead again. Judging by the cumbersome Stream.MOV debacle, it might take that long to assemble all of the bits…..
JUUUUUUUUUUST Kidding…..:)
PS: We contrarians might consider using the igloo as our movement’s symbol. We lack one now. It would be a “contrarian” message–i.e., anti-warming.
PPS–I.e., we could have igloo buttons, T-shirts, coffee mugs, avatars, site-symbols, etc.
I’d be very happy to donate spare PC processing power in converting videos if it would be of any help?

Ditto. The streaming version had serious bandwidth problems for me as well. This new version is excellent. The only problem is a search of youtube for WUWT-TV returns WUWT / WOBT TV 26 Union City, Tennessee.
“While WUWT is our licensed name, we do business as WOBT TV. WOBT TV is a Class A television station located in Union City, TN. WOBT TV has been on the air for over 15 years. Our methods of telecast include our 350 ft. tower that telecasts over a 35-mile radius, along with our presence on fiber-optic Charter Cable in Upper West Tennessee, which presents a crystal clear picture in over 20 towns and communities.”

REPLY: Yes well awarw, I actually have wuwt.tv so we’ll call it that from now on – Anthony
As I wasn’t able to watch the dysfluent Usteam live broadcast over here in Germany, I’m very obliged for publishing the interviews as videos. Watching this first video with Sen. Inhofe I was really surprised about the quality of the good content and the professional realization of a TV broadcast.
My deepest gratitude for your work, Anthony! Kudos!
Well done. I am looking forward to more in the future – and thank you very much.
From the Far Side:
Polar bears leaning on an igloo with a bashed in center. One says, “I love these! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside!”
Anthony, thanks for all that you do. I am always impressed at the quantity and quality of your dedication.
Thank you Anthony!
You are a hero!
Anthony, I think you have a great media voice and now I can add that I also think you have a calming, trust-worthy countenance. You are not clownishly far right or left like other media personalities are. I think that for the topic at hand, you are exactly what we all need to turn this topic-turned-media-sideshow into studied and moderate discourse and debate.
4 marks.
Professional quality.
John
Thanks for this Anthony. I am really looking forward to watching these segmants again at my leasure. Terrific content. I wouldn’t be surprised to see the number of views skyrocket now that live-streaming is out of the equation. Will there be a dedicated WUWT-TV channel at Youtube?
Wow, great interview Anthony! I too look forward to seeing the rest of the content as you put it online.
You and Elon Musk share the top spot on my Contemporary Hero List.
Well done. That TV meteorologist experience is not only usefull for the science, but for the communication!
Good quality video, and I look forward to my daily dose.
I also could not stream it live on a DSL connection, this is much appreciated. Thanks for all your efforts, Anthony
Appoint Inhofe to head the EPA.
Brilliant, heroic, and necessary.
“Keep the bastards honest” (Chipp 1980)
Thanks to both Anthony and Senator Inhofe for the work both have done in bringing clarity to a very murky subject.
WRT the United Nations and their insidious machinations, I became acutely aware of it from a property I owned in upstate NY where one of my 14 acres was ‘stolen’ because of boilerplate Agenda21 rules inserted into the county land-use regulations by ‘stakeholders’ that have no ownership rights in the county. (Check your own county; don’t say you weren’t warned.)
DEFUND – DISBAND – DEPORT the UN !
Good job Anthony, I managed to watch a few hours live, but it was very late and I have been working flat out all week, this will help me get up to date on the issues. thanks very much for all your hard work, it’s appreciated as always 🙂
Again, thanks for what you do.
If possible, maybe links to the videos could be placed on the side bar like links to other sites?
Pace yourself.
OT, but the BOM Nino 3.4 SST index is currently 0.12 degrees and falling, for more than a week:

The Nino 3 index has just fallen below zero:
http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/enso/indices.shtml
But the WUWT ENSO dial shows the value just increased from 0.5 to 0.7 degrees. Do we have a closet warmist controlling this dial?
Great work Anthony, I really enjoyed looking at this episode again. I am really looking forward to seeing those episodes that I was forced to miss out here.
As always— Thank you for your great efforts!!
Great! Soon I’ll be able to catch up on all the sessions I missed or could not watch completely before. Thanks for all your hard work Anthony.

Sorry for the echo.
You have a good face for television, Anthony – and a well trained voice. How you’ve overcome your deafness is remarkable, but then my brother is deaf and you’d never know it to talk to him. It came late in life for him and he adapted well.
As my own hearing fades slowly to black I hope I can compensate as well as you and he have done. As to the WUWT-TV event – job well done. You were backed with solid science, not corporate green, and it went very well. Don’t wait for the next AlGore extravagancia to play off of for your next big presentation. This movement needs to stand alone and apart, and win on merit.
Thanks Anthony … great work
Anthony, .mov is Apple Quicktime file which is pretty standard for video. Player can be downloaded for free for Windows here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL837
Thank you for all the hard work yo do to bring out the truth.
Thanks Anthony, not only is this much better than ustream with no breaking up and no screeching ads coming right at the critical point, but it is also a great resource in its own right, akin to the wonderful reference pages that we now have. No doubt the “views” will exceed the views recorded for the original over time.
Reblogged this on gottadobetterthanthis and commented:
Proud of my Senator. Thanks Anthony and Senator Inhofe.
Darn, the video I downloaded is 9 min 59 sec, while on Youtube it is 10 min exactly, so I am missing 1 whole second! I want all of them, each and every second! 🙂
Great work Anthony.
