I guess nobody contributed the greenhouse gas experiment kit for you to try on live television. I thought that might have been fun. Great lineup though. I’m l looking forward to it.

greenhouse gas experiment kit,
you should get the guys in from the Johnson co2 generator company, they produce them for Greenhouses, pump levels up to 1000 ppm, ask them if they see any difference between this level of co2 in a greenhouse and a normal greenhouse – for a laugh!

And good luck with the show! 😀

President Obama at today’s press conference:
“You know, as you know, Mark (sp), we can’t attribute any particular weather event to climate change. What we do know is the temperature around the globe is increasing faster than was predicted even 10 years ago. We do know that the Arctic ice cap is melting faster than was predicted even five years ago. We do know that there have been extraordinarily — there have been an extraordinarily large number of severe weather events here in North America, but also around the globe.”
Unbelievable!

Hope it rains tomorrow so I won’t feel guilty glued to the screen all day. It usually rains in Wales! Helen Boaden, George Entwistle, Peter Rippon et al will be watching attentively, of course, learning about science and understanding the mistakes they have made. They have plenty of free time at the moment 🙂

Needs the link to WUWT-TV itself (or where & when to find it). Otherwise sending out the link to this post doesn’t help.

A small suggestion:
Don’t know how possible it is, but perhaps putting a shot of the ‘countdown clock’ on the ‘test feed’ would let folks have an easier time finding what time zone they are in 😉
Could be as simple as a static “2 hours” then “1 hour” then…
Also, if the ‘test feed’ is also the ‘live feed’ once up and running, that could be noted here…

John B. M.D. there’s some important parts of the press conference…
” But we haven’t done as much as we need to. So, what I’m going to be doing over the next several weeks — next several months is having a conversation, a wide-ranging conversation with scientists, engineers, and elected officials to find out what can — what more can we do to make short-term progress in reducing carbons, and then, you know, working through an education process that I think is necessary — a discussion, a conversation across the country about, you know, what realistically can we do long term to make sure that this is not something we’re passing on to future generations that’s going to be very expensive and very painful to deal with.
I don’t know what — what either Democrats or Republicans are prepared to do at this point, because, you know, this is one of those issues that’s not just partisan also. I also think there’s — there are regional differences. There’s no doubt that for us to take on climate change in a serious way would involve making some tough political choices. And, you know, understandably, I think the American people right now have been so focused, and will continue to be focused onour economy and jobs and growth that, you know, if the message is somehow we’re going to ignore jobs and growth simply to address climate change, I don’t think anybody’s gonna go for that. I won’t go for that.”
Looking like a possible opportunity for skeptical scientific leaders to persue meeting with him to make lemonade. Without the cherry picking, recommended. Leaders like Anthony The Great and his colleagues here.

I would suggest, due to the international audience, to give the schedule time in UTC

November 15, 2012 12:24 am

Anthony, I’ve caught the hours with Evans and Rutan. Well done, sir. It is a superhuman accomplishment for a “one-man” show.
You really deserve a check from Exxon and Peabody. But you equally deserve a check from the National Acadamy of Sciences for your efforts were in the spirit of science. The Union of Concern Scientists should contribute as well… but they can mail theirs to Kenji.

The president, like, you know, is like so TOTALLY smart and everything, you know, that he goes like valley girl, and has to say “you know”, while he waits for the teleprompter to, like, catch up, and everything. Mere mortals are unworthy of his greatness.

Well done for an excellent presentation on a tiny budget. I hope to see more when it goes onto YouTube.
The other lot claim 15.7 million, which just goes to show that out of 7 billion there are only 0.2% prolefeeding off the widely advertised big budget drama, ‘The Gory Climate Hysteria Project….from the Deep’. That’s a box office flop.
