Just a reminder, these are still available

Readers may recall my family trip to photograph the annular solar eclipse in May 2012, and the stunning image captured and uploaded to WUWT from a Starbucks in Fernley, NV. just minutes afterwards. A set of limited edition prints (200) has been produced and they have sold about half, and I wanted to remind you that they are still available. Details below.

What you see above is actually a new 20″x30″ limited edition print. We got a lot of requests via email for the original, so decided to make a true high quality piece of art out of the event by making a collage of the shots leading up to and after the “totality” of the annular eclipse.

The spot where we photographed it from was right on the center line, as shown below by the marker:

This is printed on very heavy paper, individually numbered, and shipped in a sturdy cardboard shipping tube with the print wrapped in plastic to avoid scuffing. This is a limited edition of 200 prints. They look great framed with a black frame.

For Orders in the United States

– go here and then choose quantity. PayPal/credit cards accepted.

The price now includes FREE SHIPPING in the USA (Originally, we had set the print purchase and shipping cost separate, but this created problems, this new way saves both you and I some money).

For International orders outside of the USA,

or if for some reason the link above doesn’t work for you, you can order it here on Ebay.

We’ll try to accommodate International orders as best we can. Shipping costs are calculated at the time of sale for AU, Canada, UK.

We also have some prints of the 2012 Transit of Venus here.

I hope you don’t mind this bit of commercialism here, but the camera used was my gift to my wife, something she’d always wanted, that I gave to her after our scare with breast cancer. We still have medical bills (Obamacare doesn’t help) from that we are slowly paying off, so this seemed like a good way to get some of those knocked down. Of course if Exxon would just send me that big check I’m told all us skeptics get, that problem would be solved. 😉

Thanks for your consideration. – Anthony

I received one each of the 2 Transit posters – the quality is amazing (not to mention the original image!). The paper is a pretty heavy stock, and the print quality absolutely perfect. I have no doubt the eclipse posters are of the same quality. Buy them – you won’t be disappointed!

I received mine last week and have set them aside until closer to Christmas, when I’ll frame them for assorted relatives who live in Norway and weren’t even close to totality. Outstanding!

My dollars are tight (critical level) but would love to make it my desktop image. Is that possible?
Any chance that you recorded the temp drop during the eclipse?

Engineer a Permanent Eclipse
To save the earth! Here’s an idea for the warmists, among their other crazy geo-engineering cool the earth schemes. I thought they know, the scammers themselves, that it’s not really getting that hot at all, but they still are pushing $trillion ideas to, like, put huge mirrors in space to reflect back the sun’s heat! Nuts, and we are talking about an all but certain period of extended cooling to come, and they want to exacerbate that? Spend huge huge $ $ $ for naught, or for worse. Maybe these guys actually believe their own fabrications and propaganda about the world getting unusually hot. Actually, just as their push for uneconomical non-viable green energy is just a facade to try to cloak their desire to choke off all energy, these geo-engineering pie in the sky proposals are probably just another facet of the propaganda mix, to make the little people think that the warmists actually believe what they say: that the oceans will rise, then boil away! Lol, as that is ridiculous, outrageous.
/ Sarc on!
Ok, my idea. Send rockets, MAJOR rockets to the moon. Slow it down, maneuver the moon so it is always in front of the sun. Forget reality when considering this warmist notion. Permanent eclipse. No more energy-wasting air conditioners. And if you feel frozen, just put a jacket on. No fires, or heat, cause we (they) outlaw that. And if you can’t see in the dark, eat some carrots. And if the carrots won’t grow, well that’s what we warmists want, we want us all to get back too being at one with the earth (six feet under [no fires]). Best of all, we kill many birds with one stone (including the literal flying kind), as finally, after more than 40 years, we will get back to the moon! Jack Schmitt may applaud this! /sarc

Would love to order a print of the Venus transit, but my country is not listed. Can you ship to Europe?
REPLY: Maybe, but Europe is not a country- Anthony
