24 Hours of Climate Reality: Gore-a-thon – Hour 20

A new post containing a cartoon from Josh will appear every hour. At the end of the 24 hours, everything will be collated on a single page. Readers are encouraged to post skeptical arguments below, as well as offer comments on what has been seen from the Climate Reality Project so far.

An inconvenient truth from “Ivar the Terrible”

Of course, there’s no mention of this in Al 24 hour live show, but that’s what WUWT is here for.

All you need to do is read this:

Nobel laureate resigns from American Physical Society to protest the organization’s stance on global warming

Andy Revkin sums it up:

On Warming, for Every Nobelist, an Equal & Opposite Nobelist

Ivar Giaever, physics Nobelist, leaves APS over “incontrovertible” conclusion on global warming. Basically you can choose a physic laureate to suit your warming views.

====================

Josh put a lot of work into these, so if you like the work, drop by the tip jar. Unlike Gore’s CRP, he won’t spam you asking for more. Buy him a beer, he’s worked a long time bringing us enjoyment with only some “attaboys” sent his way.

I just posted about a hilarious moment I saw earlier today. Please see how a scientist has no idea about how sea level is behaving. Meet the religious priest, who is Miss Rhode Island 2006, and has a degree in Religion, and gives the scientist a “lesson”. Probably one of the best moments in th Gore-a-thon:

re Ecotretas:
Best line after buddy offers no observational data on sea level rise: “I don’t want to get bogged down in the metrics”
As Judge Judy would scold: “Where did you think you were coming today!!!?”
This feels like an elementary school project.

Nobel Laureate (and past Fellow of the American Physical Society as of Sept. 13, 2011) Dr. Ivar Giaever said this:
“The temperature (of the Earth) has been amazingly stable, and both human health and happiness have definitely improved in this “warming” period.”
This statement is completely at odds with the AGW stance the APS takes–kudos to Dr. Giaever for standing on his principles.

George Carlin, I think had a clue (or at least a healthy dose of common sense):

Speaking of climate reality, there is currently a discussion going on at Wikipedia that may be of interest to your readers.

I invite them to stop by and make their opinions known. 🙂

It’s an embarrassment. I could hardly bear to watch that video.
This man knows nothing.
