If you haven’t visited Cartoonsbyjosh.com yet. You really should. He’s got a wonderful collection of cartoons that focus on the climate debate taking place online.
Here’s one he did of Lucia’s Blackboard. Lucia looks a bit like Copernicus in this rendition.
Josh has honored WUWT and yours truly with a cartoon also. See below.
Gotta keep those Stevenson Screens warm.
I like the Stevenson screen shelter. Nice touch.
I like it.Got your baby in a blanket I see.
Better move that screen near an airport.
I thought maybe you were the concern [snip] worried about UHI, but this is better, congrats.
I see you have the full Walrus. Must make it easier to be around the polar bears when you’re checking on the Arctic ice. 😉
Hey! Where’s the barbecue?
Those are nice cartoons. The artist is very good at capturing character.
Such a noble visage — Zeus-like in appearance.
If only the alarmists could develop a healthy sense of humor. Psst, guys — you can be serious and still have fun. And all without the aid of a lawyer!
Is Anthony’s thumb keeping temperatures in check?
LOL…. Anthony / Moses,
The Russians agree.
“Scientists who believe the climate is warming may have
been misled by data from U.S. meteorological stations
located in urban areas, where dense microclimates creates
higher temperatures, RIA Novosti quoted Pokrovsky as
saying.”

Anthony, you are looking like Haraald Hadragaa (or Harald Hardråde) on this.
Fortunately, WUWT won their battle at Stamford Bridge.
Anthony, your hand is warming the thermometer! AGW!!!!!
REPLY: Doh!

They can’t. When your job is predicting the apocalypse you must play it straight or you lose the audience.
Reverend. [bows] 🙂
What are those clouds supposed to mean? Are those the result of cosmic rays ionically seeding clouds at lower altitude during solar minimum?!
I like it! I like it a LOT! 🙂
What are those clouds supposed to mean? Are those the result of cosmic rays ionically seeding clouds at lower altitude during solar minimum?!
Not likely… It means the clouds are breaking up a bit following the 5 larger eruptions we had in 2008 & 2009. See for yur sef!

You aren’t Oliver Reed’s long lost brother, are you?
http://www.sportcartoons.co.uk/members/oliverreed.html
Just down from the mount with the truth or what?
I like the blanket around the Stevenson screen keeping it nice and warm. Now if he’d just put HVAC unit or jet exhaust close to it…
Watts up with the gap in the DMI arctic temps chart?
Sitting in a UHI waitin’ for cycle 24,
If the spots dont show, come and get your skates
and we’ll maunder on the Thames some more
I am the snowman, they are the snowmen, Watts is the Walrus!
Coo-coo-ca-joob!
😉
Matt- the gap in DMI is from days when it wasnt possible to take observations for whatever reason.

(with apologies to those on the LHS of the pond)
Stamford Bridge? Hardly worth mentioning. For men of steel, venture a couple of miles north west to White Hart Lane.
Aaaaaaah! Nor’east, not north west. Where’s that preview button?
Asterix the Gaul?
is that Zeus?
were you in Bachman Turner Overdrive when you were younger?
Slartibartfast? (Have you driven a fjord lately?)
I LIKE it! There is definitely something Asterix-ish about the portrait!
Anthony, you KNOW that you are winning when you, your friends, collegues and blog-readers can have a belly-laugh upon seeing this cartoon!
No-one in the AGW camp seems to be able to do this, Mann especially with his “Hide-the-Decline” carryings-on!
You ought to use it as part of the masthead. Good work, Josh.
WOW!
I followed the link to Josh’ page.
Once there, I followed the link to here…

I couldn’t believe it when he cited Bjørn Lomborg as sceptical.
Really couldn’t listen any further, perhaps someone with a higher tolerance then I can.
DaveE.
You could keep that screen even warmer under that nice ‘stache. 😉
Most ecclesiastical…and apropos, considering AGW is a religion.
Your new persona reminds me of Hagar the Horrible: http://comics.dp.cx/2009.02.22/Hagar%20the%20Horrible-2009.02.22.gif
I have to say, Lucia looks rather hot. And the way she’s spinning the planet Earth on her index finger, well, I have to say, I’m enchanted.
Judd (19:09:41)–
She might melt your Popsicle (sha-wing!) but the arctic chill has necessitated another rescue: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/opinion/another-polar-rescue-must-send/story-e6frfhqf-1225856131380

Awesome likeness…I’m wondering if that Stevenson screen has been painted with Latex or whitewashed? 🙂
OT: I found the following information on the Internet.

So, Pachauri is the “renowned” climate expert, he??
Has Josh done Gavin, Mann, Romm et al yet? Tamino?
I’ve just made my monthly contribution to the tip jar. Keep up the good work.
“Lang may yer lum reek!” – as we say in Bonnie Scotland.
1. Thou shalt not trust surface trust surface station readings.
Ooops. got a ‘trust’ too many. Moderators please correct – if posted, thanks.
My other favorite is McKitrick’s.
Too fast on the button — McIntyre it is.
First graphic reminds me… the sceptic community needs a Weird Al parody for a theme.
I like it!
and Australia is looking forward to your visit Anthony.
bring the robes…It may impress the extremely Pro Warm biased ABC..
on the other hand, it may not:-)
but it would still catch attention.
Starring Al Gore as Medusa…
Why has Lucia got “GOTO HEARTLAND” scrawled on her blackboard/desk?
REPLY: Because she is in fact, going. -A
And Titanthony did smite the warmists with his bare hands pounding on the keyboard.
Wonderful! He’s got me hooked.
But Doc, it’s a bit Moses-isk. Hmmm, maybe he’s thinking you should do a “Ten Commandments of Climate”?
Just for S&Gs how about these to get you going:
I – Thou shalt not use tree rings as an indicator of anything.
II – Thou shalt not covet thy airports temperature data.
BTW, did you ever find that coal/nuke? ad you were looking for in PS?
The stone flat-screen monitor adds to the impression.
Aww, lookit th’ cute baby Stevenson screen!
were you in Bachman Turner Overdrive when you were younger? By Amino Acids in Meteorites
You know, I saw BTO play at Dogpatch USA theme park around early 1990’s and… by golly Anthony does look like one of those old rockers.
Also, Scorpions just began their farewell tour and last album. Now that’s a band that could rock-n-roll with BTO or anybody and Klaus Meine could sing, maybe better than Elvis. I’m going to try to catch ’em before they retire too!
