Perhaps some people are begining to realize that they have been hoodwinked.

The bill was eventually voted out of her committee, WITHOUT the minimun of 2 minority votes. However, Baucus voted against the bill leaving committee. Baucus’ main issue seems to have been the impact of the bill on Dems from coal states. All the yelling at politician at Town Hall meetings didn’t get them to listen. The politicians came out with a new health care bill that was almost twice the size of the last one. Being yelled at by regular, every day folk didn’t get politicians to listen. But what happened in an election did.

Now everything political from big-spending-big-government, of which “The Pollution Reduction and Investment Incentive Mechanism” (i.e. Cap N Trade) was the biggest, will find an empty room. I expect to be seeing some scrambling to damage control from Boxer, Pelosi, Reid, etc.

Although Nancy Pelosi said this morning, “We won last night.” Odd that.

This is amusing.

I think the empty room has to do with Republicans doing so well in the election yesterday. Global warming is an issue from the left of politics. And it’s a very expensive left issue. It is clear from yesterday America now wants something different than what they’ve been seeing from the left since Barak Obama became President.
