UHIs appear very stable in the humid tropics, i.e little variation all year round. I suspect the same is true in places like Florida in the summer.

There’s another legend. This one is somewhat older than the last one, and shorter. I can’t vouch for it, either, but such is the nature of legends. It goes as follows:

Aristotle and his usual suspects were discussing the question of men and women. They decided that women were inferior, and the reason for this was that they had fewer teeth.

This was debated and considered until one of them arose and suggested finding an actual woman counting her teeth.

He was expelled from the society, forthwith, never to return.

UHIs are dynamic so it will be good to have a data for different weather conditions. I wonder what a vertical temp profile up the side of the building would look like. What was the difference in temps between the 51st floor and street level?
