I need to see the study to see what percentage of warming they attribute to the UHI, and if this affects California, what about all the other urban areas?

*** Moderators note: Its not the variation of irradiance in the 11 year cycle that is of any issue, its the overall increase in solar magnetic activity over the last couple of centuries that is the real issue. This combined with a gardual, but small net increase in irradiance. This trend can be shown to be historically matching surface temperature proxy records and actual records indiacte the changes in the sun are driving climate change, and the fact that CO2 emissions lag by about 800 years are a clear indicator that the warming of the ocease by sun driven climate change is causing a CO2 release…not the other way around.
